Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church To Whom It May Concern: I would like to share with you how Mary Kay & John Tortoriello have been used by God in an effective manner to reach out to people who are suffering from addiction to life controlling habits. This couple as a ministry team has consistently for over three years given themselves without reserve to the discipleship and healing of scores of people who are broken by the power of sin. They have led small groups, taught larger gatherings, and met with people on a one on one basis in their home. As volunteers to this ministry they have fully devoted themselves to the work of caring for hurting people and providing a network of support for those who need help. They bring to this passion for ministry an in-depth knowledge of addiction both from their own personal walk of faith and from thousands of hours of study both private and academic. This combination of passion and wisdom has made them one of the most effective teams for healing that I have witnessed in my twenty years of ministry. Person after person over the last three years have come to me to praise this couple for their commitment and love. They have been there in the middle of the night to help someone get through a crisis and have more than once gone to the hospital to encourage someone who had gone through a crisis. In this they have developed redemptive friendships with those with whom they minister and have lifted up many people from the depths of despair, who without them, would have been lost in a sea of depression and addiction. God has used them as a tool of righteousness to bring His power to many people and help them become free of destructive life styles. If you are looking for faithful and wise servants who will reach the brokenness of others then I could not more highly recommend any couple to you than Mary Kay and John.
